Coronavirus distancing: It is working?

The world still fights the coronavirus pandemic with a hope of finding a lasting solution to the crisis. In the midst of increasing global coronavirus cases across countries, lack and absence of preventive medicinal treatment, therapy or vaccination has forced upon the people to practice non-pharmaceutical or medical interventions – ‘social distancing’, ‘stay home’, 'lockdown' as the pre-emptive and protective measures to reduce the impact and spread of the pandemic.

People are left with no option but to practice them stringently for everyone’s safety and life. Given the current situation across the world, it looks like these strict measures appear to be working in stopping the spread of coronavirus and helping break the initial coronavirus chain that was formed due to mass movement of people.

Due to widespread social distancing, people staying at home and closures of establishments, coronavirus spread is possibly dropping, although a lot still needs to ascertained by health experts, monitored and medically evaluated.

How long should we continue 'distancing'  is a critical question? But it's the crucial playing factor now to stop the coronavirus pandemic.
